BECKETT IN FOXROCK
Event
This is the fourth year of Beckett in Foxrock which celebrates the Nobel Laureate‘s strong connection with the place where he was born and which influenced his work so much. This event was held in Tullow Church and the play was performed by Mouth on Fire Theatre Company in association with Foxrock Area Community and Enterprise (FACE) with the support of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and Dublin UNESCO
City of Literature.
Final Thoughts
All that Fall by Samuel Beckett was written as a radio play so, in this case, the audience wore blindfolds. This created a unique experience for the audience, particularly as the play is set in Foxrock and was attended by President Michael D Higgins and Mrs.Higgins.
This was the fourth year in which I did the design for Beckett in Foxrock. I created the social media content, posters, outside billboards and programme design. Beckett In Foxrock is a very successful event which is held in the church in which Beckett attended as a child. It attracts widespread national and international attention.
